Pricing Information

We aim to be open and transparent about the cost of veterinary care. The prices shown below are guide prices for our most commonly provided services and are intended to give an indication of typical fees. The final cost of treatment may vary depending on your pet’s individual needs, clinical findings, diagnostic requirements, treatment options, and any additional care required.

All treatment recommendations and associated costs will be discussed with you in advance wherever possible, and we will always seek to keep you fully informed before proceeding.

Consultations:

Vaccines & Immunisation:
  • Dog. Annual booster with KC & L4: £90
  • Dog. Annual booster without KC: £75
  • Dog. Course restart & puppies: £95
  • Cat. Annual booster: £75
  • Cat. Course restart & puppies: £95
Neutering:
  • Dog. Male <25kg: £230
  • Dog. Male >25kg: £260
  • Dog. Female (small) <10kg: £330
  • Dog. Female (medium) 10-25kg: £350
  • Dog. Female (large) 25-40kg: £380
  • Dog. Female (giant) >40kg: £450
  • Cat. Male: £90
  • Cat. Female: £125
Dentals:
At Abbotswood Veterinary Centre we offer a grading system for dental treatments and these prices include a 2 day check up and initial medications. However, if further medications are required there will be an additional charge.
  • GRADE 1*: Minimal tartar build up, no extractions. Scale and polish only £250
  • GRADE 2: Gums receding, tartar build up, includes medications as required and 1-3 extractions £550
  • GRADE 3: Severe dental disease, includes 4-6 extractions and medications as required £650
  • GRADE 4: Very severe dental disease, over 6 extractions and medications as required £800
* £60 if animal in for another procedure under anaesthetic

Did you know?

Our usual consult length is 15 minutes but we allow extra time for more complicated cases.

A consultation can involve anything from a vaccination to a blood test to an ultrasound scan.

We offer consultations with our fully qualified nurses for certain procedures and advice.

We offer morning and evening consultations during the week but will see emergency consults any time through the day.
