Fast diagnosis
We have recently invested in the latest 'DR' x-ray technology which means a digital image can be made within seconds. This allows fast decision making in emergency situations and minimises time under anaesthetic for more routine imaging too.
We now offer basic in-house ultrasound for diagnostic purposes and can also check for pregnancy. For more advanced imaging we have a specialist ultrasonographer who can be called in so you do not need to travel elsewhere.

Cat and dog pregnancy scans can take place from around 16 and 28 days respectively.
Ultrasound can be used in emergency situations to check for internal bleeding.
Our DR x-ray takes 6 seconds to produce an image compared to 7 minutes with traditional non-digital machines!
Both x-rays and ultrasounds are non-invasive diagnostic tools.
