We have invested in up-to-date IDEXX blood analysis machines so that we are able to offer in-house blood tests to check organ function and blood cell counts on the same day. This also includes checking thyroid hormone levels for patients with ongoing thyroid issues and Symmetric Dimethylarginine (SDMA) which is a very early marker of kidney disease.
We work with IDEXX and Axiom external laboratories for further tests we cannot perform in-house and can get most results the next day with their service.
We have equipment for in-house urine testing, including checking for crystals, to provide monitoring of ongoing urinary issues and diagnosis of conditions such as diabetes.
